Highgate Chardonnay
Highgate Chardonnay is from a very famous vineyard in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales which has consistently produced high quality fruit for a number of well known, premium wines. This elegant Chardonnay has length and finesse. French oak plays a subtle but essential role in the wine integrating fully with its rich, natural flavours. A perfect accompaniment to shell fish, other seafood and chicken dishes.
Deep Straw colour
Obvious fruits are peaches and melons, there is an evident depth in the aroma and some vanilla notes.
Generous and round fruits, carried by elegant and restrained oak. There is a refreshing crispness to the finish which draws you back for more. -

-

Starborough Pinot Gris
Very pale straw-yellow colour with green hue, pale on rim. This has a full, voluminous, but firm and powerfully intense nose of ripe pears, subtly spiced and with yellow stonefruit nuances. Dry to taste, this has stylish, near-ethereal flavours of white stonefruits and ripe pears, harmoniously melded with soft, unctuous textures on the palate. Soft acidity and balanced alcohol are integrated and the wine is very accessible. This has fruit weight and depth that builds, and contributes to great mouthfeel and presence. The wine has a long and sustained finish with soft, rich and honeyed pear flavours.
