A pale gold coloured wine with a peach and nectarine aroma. The palate is medium bodied and crisp, really emphasising the fruity characters of the wine. Peach, lemon and lime coat the palate with a crisp acidic line to create a wine of great balance.

Lifted tropical fruit aromas with hints of Padthaways trademark lime and grapefruit are complemented by subtle oak.

Great colour of pale yellow and green tints. The aromas are in the tropical spectrum with background 'meal' characters from the yeast lees stirring. White peach flavours initially and soft cashew, vanillin oak feature on the palate. There is a medium alcohol and glycerol weight and a long finish. A great example of Brokenwood's complex, barrel fermented Chardonnay that will gain weight to give a full flavoured palate. The use of screw cap will ensure consistent aging.

The juice was racked but not settled giving more mouthfeel and texture. Using a combination of new and old oak as well as a portion through malolactic fermentation provided a creamier, textured style. Battonage during maturation also enhanced texture. Wine from the Margaret River Region.
