Milled from blended premium Australian wheats. Multipurpose flour for use in cake, biscuits and scones and general food use.
Plain flour or all purpose flour is not made from the entire grain, during its milling process some fiber is lost, hence on nutrition labels there is low fiber. A mixture of hard wheat (which has more gluten) and soft wheat to make plain or all purpose flour.
Gluten provides the elasticity to the dough, helping it to stretch and trap the gases formed by leavening agents like yeast and baking powder. The dough will naturally rise resulting in baked goods that look and taste delicious.
