William Fevre Espino Pinot Noir

The Espino Gran Cuvée Pinot Noir, presents a deep sexy ruby colour. Its nose is more old world than new with raspberries and strawberries with a very tight-grained elegant oak component. On the palate the attack is subtle, with a restrained but sufficient tannic structure, a refreshing acidity and mid to long persistence. The mouth is minerally in the mid-section owing to the soils and finishes with a certain cherry jaminess that could be considered typical of what little of this varietal is grown in the Maipo.
