Beltion have done a nice job on this Italian classic, recreating a robust expression from an old family recipe that achieves a satisfying bittersweet balance. The infusion of herbs, spices, bark, berries and aromatic roots combine angelica, rosemary, wormwood, star anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, juniper, rhubarb, cinchona and gentian backed up by tangy citrus peels and subtle mint freshness. Enjoy straight, over ice or cut it back with soda to taste - it retains much of its character after dilution.
