The AAA on the label pays homage to David's days in the wool trade and was stamped on the best grades of wool by the Guesser. It is a vibrant blend of approximately 62% Shiraz and 38% Grenache from some special little pockets amongst our vineyards. The Shiraz was selected from the ‘Gateway' and ‘Jones Block’ vineyards, renowned for producing some of the best fruit in the region. These select parcels were blended with complimentary Grenache to create a wine that is engaging to a wide range of drinkers. Our blend is fun, appealing and, unlike some members of Paxton, not over the top.

Rising Ground” and is a return to the classic elegant style after a couple of warmer vintages. The juicy acid profile and fine tannins remain perfectly balanced, creating a concentrated yet poised wine. Try with Moroccan roast lamb.

Bright red berry characters on the nose with hints of dusty oak and chocolate on the palate, subtle fine tannins and good length.

The Triple Blend is Rosnay’s signature red wine. It is made for balance and complexity through blending, rather than expressing pure varietal character. The current blend combines the bold and rich fruit of Cabernet Sauvignon, the spice and pepper of Shiraz, and the velvet texture of Merlot. The Triple Blend is made with minimal intervention, no fining agents, low sulfur and minimal oak. The 2008 and 2011 both have a solid body but still some clean, firm tannins with soft edges and plenty of fruit.
