Domenico Clerico's "Capisme-e" Nebbiolo is an approachable, unoaked Piedmontese Nebbiolo designed for immediate enjoyment, showcasing pure red fruit aromas like strawberry and raspberry with floral and herbal notes, a silky, fresh palate, and soft, fine tannins. It is intentionally made to express the pure fruit and character of the Nebbiolo grape from Monforte d'Alba, using a shorter maceration and aging in steel tanks and amphorae to avoid excessive oak influence.
