Buontalenti Chianti Docg

A vibrant entry-Chianti built on Sangiovese (with Colorino & Canaiolo). The bouquet shows bright cherries, raspberry and red berry fruit backed by whiffs of clove, black pepper and a hint of earth. On the palate it’s fresh and juicy, with lively acidity and fine tannins giving structure; the mid-palate has spiced fruit, finishing with a tang of mineral-laden grip. Fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts offers authenticity. Though formal critical scores for the 2024 vintage are few, this wine is widely praised for excellent value and drinkability.
