Brilliant ruby red colour tending to orange with age. Inviting bouquet of dried cherries, plum, and subtle floral notes, complemented by hints of leather and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and vibrant acidity. Flavours of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones unfold, leading to a long, elegant finish with lingering notes of vanilla and cedar. We don't recommend decanting a wine of this age. Letting it stand upright for 24 hours before serving will will be sufficient to ensure that the sediment has settled naturally. This wine will pair well with mature cheeses, roasted red meats, game meats, mushroom based dishes and rich tomato based pasta sauces.
