The Cooke Brothers Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir is a light-bodied, dry red wine known for its bright fruit and spice notes. It typically features aromas of red fruits like cherries and raspberries, with hints of spice and earthiness. The wine is crafted using hand-picked fruit, open-fermented with some whole bunches for complexity, and aged in French oak puncheons. It's characterized by its freshness and length on the palate.

Aromatic Dark Cherries, raspberries and spice with underlying forest floor notes, a supple but well-structured pinot with toasted French oak adding complexity and linearity to the palate.

Handpicked Pinot Noir was fermented in small open fermenters with some whole bunches by wild yeast and hand plunged four times a day. The free run juice and pressing were barreled seperately and matured in tightly grained French oak puncheons of 12 months.

With the generous red berry fruit aromas, hints of fresh cut plums and fine oak spice. The entry onto the palate of soft red fruits with ripe tannin structure support the sense of a warm vintage. Savoury notes of dried meats and provencal herbs add to the complexity after opening, and will become more integrated with bottle age.

Sourced from multiple vineyards, this wine showcases fresh primary berry fruits with subtle tannins, acidity, and oak notes. It's a prime example of an early-released refreshing style of Pinot Noir.
