Balbi Soprani Barbaresco
Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown near Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso: ancient little villages in the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo. Nebbiolo grapes are particularly sensitive to the local climate, producing a wine that is very different from a wine that might be made from the same grape planted elsewhere. Barbaresco must be aged for at least 26 months, including 9 months in wood.

Balbi Soprani Barbera Dasti
Made from Barbera grapes grown in a large hilly area in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria characterised by calcareous, clayey and sandy soil.
Winy, ethereal, with notes of blackberry, plum and spices on the nose. On the palate it is dry, round, bold and full-bodied. -
Balbi Soprani Barolo
Universally considered the king of the wines of Piedmont, Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in a limited part of the Langhe, near the town of Barolo. It is aged for at least 3 years, 2 of which are spent in oak or chestnut barrels. Bottles must be stored horizontally in a dry, cool wine cellar.

Named after Nebbiolo grapes, the noble ancient varietal from the hills of Alba from which the wine is made, or the autumn fog (“nebbia”) typically found in the Langhe at harvest time.

Banfi Colle Pino Merlot Sangiovese
Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing reveals ripe red currant and dark cherry aromatics followed by vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and spice. Medium bodied dark cherry and ripe currant flavours prevail over vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and spice characters. Soft mouthfeel with fine grained, slightly dryish tannins and a medium length finish.
Ideal with first courses, and white meats, Intense flavours, fruit driven, notes of plum, red current and raspberry. Excellent finish with a sweetness that lasts.
