Elegant, with intense scents of small berries and wild violets. Good structure on the palate, not intense as is typical of Pinot Nero. Well-balanced on all levels, it has good persistence and an excellent aromatic nature.

Very dark ruby red, wide and complex to the nose, fruity, with a prune and cherry jam aroma, with notes of liquorice and cocoa. Very well balanced. Warm and satisfying.
Excellent as an after-dinner wine, or to go with red meat, game, quails and richly flavoured dishes.
Very good with well-aged cheeses, such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola. 

Rich, though fresh and elegant. Red and black cherries, black pepper, mint and bay leaves on the nose. Red cherries, tobacco, licorice notes on the palate. A firm tannic structure combined to a rich finish for a wine that aims for longevity.
