Dry with vibrant juicy ripe fruit sweetness supported by natural acids and tannins. Rich intensity of red berry fruits.

Light straw in colour with lime green hues, this wine has dominant aromas of freshly squeezed lime and grassy notes while hints of crisp capsicum are still evident. Sweet lemon and lime flavours bring softness to the palate while hints of snow peas add a savoury aspect allowing the palate to flow into a long crisp finish.

This Chardonnay is a ‘traditional’ classic full-bodied wine made from premium quality grapes grown on the Mount Canobolas Vineyard and reflects the excellent characters derived from the cool growing season of the Orange Wine Region. This wine is a brilliant straw green with a touch of light yellow and gold.

The nose has melon like varietal fruit aromas, integrated with soft vanillin oak and butterscotch. On the palate it shows fresh and lifted cold climate Chardonnay fruit, with well integrated oak, displaying fullness, yet elegance. Clean and dry with superb lingering fruit and oak flavours complemented with a crisp acid finish.

While drinking well now, this wine will continue to improve for at least the next five years. This wine is ideal with curries, smoked salmon and vegetarian dishes.
