Patrick Shiraz is an Australian Shiraz typically described as a full-bodied, rich wine with notes of dark fruits like blackberry and plum, complemented by spice, pepper, and chocolate from oak aging. It features a deep color, balanced complexity, and a smooth, lingering finish.

French oak replaced American, highlighting the pepper, spice and floral characteristics that define this style. Since this time, greater attention to fruit flavour ripeness has structurally resulted in a more complete and complex wine style.

Created in 1962, Penfolds Bin 128 is a regional wine that reflects the unique climate and growing conditions of South Australia’s Coonawarra district and the relatively elegant style of cool-climate Shiraz.

An intense medium to fullbodied Shiraz with plenty of fragrance and even more fruit. Silky tannins, bold black and blue fruits, liquorice, raspberries, dark chocolate and spice knitted together with savory oak and fine tannins. Incredibly long finish.
