Evangelista's ratafia is a mix of three-year-old Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine with black cherries, sweet almonds and other spices, producing a fantastic punch base as well as a drink that's great to sip over ice.

Intense cinnamon and sugar aromas are apparent when first opening a bottle. The taste is initially set by cinnamon flavour that hits immediately, followed by a sweet finish with a bite. The coupling of cinnamon flavours, with the whisky complement each other impeccably.

Derived frpm a very ancient recipe, this liqueur is obtained by the infusion of officinal herbs and rose petals in absolute alcohol. It is a liqueur of high alcoholic strength, 50° or 70°, with warm and strong character just like the fire from the volcano.
Still it joins a very pleasant, fine aroma to powerful taste. Its colour is intensive red. Excellent as digestive drink and fortifying on cold winter days.

The liqueur is bottled also in bottles covered with volcanic stone.

These are then immersed in a liquid mixture of pure alcohol and sugar – then filtered. This produces the finest limoncello liqueur, with an intense aromatic lemon flavour, a enjoyable level of alcohol and the characteristic yellow colour.
