Bright, fragrant aromas of spiced mulberry, black cherry, red plum and raspberry, with notes of tamarillo, dried herbs, white pepper, cinnamon, mace and anise. A juicy and plush palate of red berries and blackcurrant is carried by savoury line of chalky tannins, finishing long with excellent balance.

This Chardonnay is a ‘traditional’ classic full-bodied wine made from premium quality grapes grown on the Mount Canobolas Vineyard and reflects the excellent characters derived from the cool growing season of the Orange Wine Region. This wine is a brilliant straw green with a touch of light yellow and gold.

The nose has melon like varietal fruit aromas, integrated with soft vanillin oak and butterscotch. On the palate it shows fresh and lifted cold climate Chardonnay fruit, with well integrated oak, displaying fullness, yet elegance. Clean and dry with superb lingering fruit and oak flavours complemented with a crisp acid finish.

While drinking well now, this wine will continue to improve for at least the next five years. This wine is ideal with curries, smoked salmon and vegetarian dishes.

Flint Rock epitomises the fine mineral structure of Chardonnay produced from the cool climate Mount Barker grape growing sub-region of the Great Southern in Western Australia.

Youthful and classic cabernet aromas of sweet mint, poached red fruits, savoury herbs and a touch of mocha and toasted oak. A sweet core of wild berry and soft plum fruits bridled by fine, gravelly fruit tannins with French oak vanilla spice to finish.
