The vintage has aromas of citrus flower, clean linen, and a burst of pineapple. The wine has a pleasant weight on the palate with honey and citrus notes and a light salinity. This wine comes from two growing regions within Santa Barbara County, both of which are influenced by unique soil types and proximity to the Pacific Ocean. It shows more citrus notes, and as the fruit ripens on the vine, it becomes increasingly tropical in expression.

This blend would be considered eccentric in the old world, but at Berton Vineyards we look for the unusual coming together of different varieties in order to produce wines that are special. This shiraz cabernet merlot is full of vibrant berries overlaid with chocolate and spicy notes. Fruity, with a touch of oak.

Deep and dark with vibrant red hues. Crushed red fruits and dark berries, cherry compote and spice. Mouth-filling grainy tannins alongside subtle tobacco and well integrated oak.
