Dark brilliant ruby. Wonderfully refined nose is full of ripe plum and cherry aromas filled out tantalizing spicy notes. The fruit is lush and forward on the palate with sweet toasty oak flavours blended with bitter chocolate and ripe raspberry. The finish is lush and filled with sweet baked cherry flavours with a hint of tobacco and round, easy tannins. Serve it at 18°C with roasts and matured cheeses

Leafy underbrush, leather, truffle, grilled herb and tilled soil aromas lead the way. The dense, forward palate doles out juicy black cherry, star anise, tobacco and an earthy hint of game while velvety tannins give it a smooth, polished texture. It has immediate appeal and will offer fine drinking for the next few years. 

Negroamaro is valued for its deep color, medium-full tannins and dark berryfruit flavors. The variety can also add earthen tones that can cross over into slightly medicinal flavors. It is mildly aromatic and can produce complex wines that show characteristics of ground brown spices such as clove, cinnamon and allspice.
