Made from 100 % Nero d'Avola, the nose is a rush of black fruits and spices - the palate is extraordinary round and complete, with a completely natural and effortless balance of tannin and acidity, structure and lenght .

The palate draws this beautiful assortment of characters into a tapestry of flavours, layers, and textures. Flavoured and layered with powerful berries, hints of savoury herb, spice, and sweet oak. Ripe, silky, and mouth-coating fruit tannins with dense fine-grained oak provide a textual balance to contour the wine's opulence. The fine acidity and savoury mineral structure support the wine's long, lasting and abundant flavour.

Punchy guava with white flesh nectarine, and a hint of passionfruit pulp lift from the glass. There is an underlying lime zest note that helps to support these exotic characters. Citrus and subtle creamy elements help to complex the wine. This is a multi-layered, and engaging nose.

A play on words, Grillo Parlante is Italian for “talking cricket” (Pinocchio’s Jiminy Cricket). 100% Grillo, the grapes were hand-harvested, gently pressed, then vinified and aged in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks. Inviting aromas of tropical and citrus fruits. On the palate, the wine shows flavors of kumquat, lemon, papaya and honeydew melon. The finish is juicy with a soft, slightly saline mineral note.
