    Bright garnet colour with slightly brick red hue. Well matured nose with a mix of ripe fruit and balmy spices. Frozen raspberries, Morello cherries and gingerbread spices. Prunes in the background. On the palate elegant with fine acidity, ripe tannins, the palate quotes the flavour of the nose, good aromatic length with mouth watering finish. Not recommended to decanter a wine of this age. Letting it stand upright for 24 hours before serving will will be sufficient to ensure that the sediment has settled naturally. This wine will pair nicely with aged cheeses, red meats, game meats, mushroom based dishes and rich tomato based pasta sauces.
