This wine is produced at Feudo di Mezzo winery, situated in the heart of Etna viticulture. It comes from Nerello Mascalese grapes, and from the search for a modern expression of this noble grape variety cultivated in the unique and splendid terroir of Etna.

A wine which unexpectedly transforms into a champion of drinkable red wine with marked savoury flavour and a tasting profile produced by a ferrous touch, rhubarb and very evident black pepper.

85% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 5% Colorino.

Mid cherry. Fresh dark fruit. Deliciously succulent with spicy, seet dark cherry and wild headgerow fruit but just a little savoury too. Beautifully balanced and harmonious. Both smooth and tangy and finishes so fresh.

he Produttori del Barbaresco, founded in 1958, now has 51 members and controls more than 100 hectares (250 acres) of premium Nebbiolo vineyards in Barbaresco. Each family is in full control of its land, growing Nebbiolo grapes with centuries old skill and dedication.

Powerful and deeply intense expression of red and black fruits with dark plum, dried cherry and hints of anise and almond on a tarry and earthy mineral-inflected backdrop; the palate is intense and richly-fruited, but so neatly wound up in the structure that the impression is distinctly savoury with grippy and fine tannins giving it great line and finesse
